The Mining Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Senior Investor Relations professional to proactively oversee all investor relations functions of a high profile, well financed resource company currently in the process of building a mine slated for production in 2014.
The Incumbent will work closely with the VP of Corporate Development and the CEO and will be responsible for proactively using their large database of contacts to generate new interest in the Company at this pivotal and high profile point as they push forward through to production.
The ideal candidate will be a professional with a post-secondary education or equivalent experience in business, finance or communications, with a solid understanding of the mining sector. At least 5 years experience in investor relations, with strong personal connections to the financial community including connections to fund managers, analysts, brokers,newsletter writers.etc. The candidate must have a good phone demeanor and able to comfortably multi-task in an environment of rapidly changing priorities. The candidate must be proficient with most of the commercially available software pertaining to the job including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Maximizer. Travel will be required for roadshows and conferences.
