Well-Financed Junior Explorer

Our Client, a well-financed junior exploration company that seems to have the Market’s attention, has retained us to lead the search to identify a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of their exploration program on their flagship Copper oxide project in Mexico.

Based out of their head office in Vancouver, the incumbent will be the senior most geologist on the team and will report directly to the CEO. The company is sitting on a very large treasury, most of which is committed to be spent going “into the ground”, and as Project Manager you will steward this by delineating a program based around the juiciest targets.  It is lead by a very accomplished and formidable Board, and the CEO is highly prominent.

The company also holds a +1m ounce Au project located in Canada, of which they also intend to advance in the hopes of adding more ounces, of which will also fall under the oversight of the incoming Project Manager.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Geoscience/Engineering with a Professional Geologist designation or equivalent
  • Roughly 10-15 years of exploration focused experience, having laid out and directed exploration programs in both Mexico and Canada.
  • Sound working knowledge of gold mineralization systems and structural geology, in addition to copper oxide deposits
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to make recommendations to Senior Management and work collaboratively in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to undertake short term international travel
  • Must be fluent in Spanish/English
