Investor Relations- multiple mandates

The Mining Recruitment Group is currently working on multiple mandates for investor relations professionals with experience within the mining sector and based in Vancouver.

Our Clients’ are looking for those professionals that bring 5-15 years of experience to the table, with a track record of generating coverage and increased buying/volume into the companies they have represented. These roles offer both full time and part-time/contract potential.

Each role we are currently recruiting for all encompass, though aren’t limited to, the following functions:

1. Serving as the primary point of contact for investor issues and the principal spokesperson to the financial community (analysts, brokers, individual investors and news media
2. Creating and disseminating press releases and presentation material.
3. Planning and executing roadshows, conference attendance and a comprehensive investor relations calendar of events.
4. Maintaining and enhancing the investor relations database using modern day software.
5. Keeping abreast of the latest types of communications and investor relations techniques

The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience of working in the investor relations/corporate communications field, with strong personal connections to the financial community including connections to fund managers, analysts, brokers,newsletter writers.etc. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a self-starter with good time management skills, and able to comfortably multi-task in an environment of rapidly changing priorities. Travel will be required for roadshows and conferences.

As one of our Client’s is focused primarily in South America, a spanish fluency would be a value add.
