The Mining Recruitment Group Ltd is a boutique search & selection firm focused exclusively on the unique needs of the mining and metals sector.

We are working with an established precious metals producer, with multiple projects throughout the Americas, to assist in their search for a new Chief Financial Officer.

The CFO will report directly to the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and directly assists the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding. They shall oversee the financial strategy, planning and analysis, accounting and financial reporting, as well as its tax and treasury functions.  The candidate will also be responsible for leading the Company’s ongoing financing initiatives, cash Management (expansion and contraction experience), and company administration.

We are after a seasoned Chief Financial Officer  that has worked in a senior capacity within other production staged mining companies, with previous experience working with dual-listed TSX/NYSE companies.  The ideal candidate will possess a professional finance/accounting designation, with at least ten years of experience within the mining sector.

The Incumbent will be based out of our Clients’ downtown Vancouver offices and must be willing to visit their operations on a regular, as-needed basis.
