Chief Executive Officer Tightly Held Junior Exploration Co

The Mining Recruitment Group is a boutique executive search firm focused exclusively on the unique requirements of the mining industry.

We are currently accepting applications on behalf of our client for the position of Chief Executive Officer. The Company is recently established junior gold exploration company based in Vancouver, with its flagship project located in the Sinaloa State of Mexico. With a tightly held share structure, robust treasury and a Board consisting of very notable names within the Industry, our Client is well positioned for growth upon finding an accomplished leader.

Our Client is looking for the incumbent to recognize that this is a small company, with the aim of building and maintaining a cost effective structure. The CEO will take the lead in developing the corporate strategy of acquisition of promising targets and properties, growth, and effective exploration. They will be responsible for ensuring proper evaluation of acquisition properties and implementation of exploration programs, working with expert staff members and consultants as needed.

The CEO will develop, motivate and lead a high-performance management team as the company grows and expands; anticipating corporate needs and recruiting members of the executive team not currently in place when needed.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, with a proven track record in the mining sector. Experience operating at the President/Chief Executive level is desirable. With a technical background, ideally focused on corporate development, the successful candidate will have experience negotiating with joint venture partners, managing a technical team, be proficient in capital raising and be a skilled communicator.
