The Mining Recruitment Group is a boutique executive search firm focused exclusively on the unique requirements of the mining industry.
We are working with a private management group that is currently advancing two separate companies towards initial public offerings to help identify and secure a CFO to lead the charge on both fronts. As opportunities go, this position couldn’t be more dynamic given the nature of the companies: One is a junior gold explorer with a coveted, high-grade gold project in the Golden-Triangle area of Northwestern BC; the other company is an incredibly unique aerospace & defense company, pioneering some incredible technologies and with significant backing.
We are looking for a well-rounded CFO familiar with the listing process that will be responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash receivable management, insurance and administration of two (soon to be) publicly traded companies.
This role requires a highly-experienced and agile professional with a successful track record in such positions that can lead the finance and administrative functions for two very different, public companies. The ideal candidate will have experience both within the mining sector as well as other quick scaling, finance intensive industries such as tech or manufacturing. The successful candidate will have skill at communicating at all levels within the organization, as well as with those within the financial community and will be an effective multi-tasker.
