The Mining Recruitment Group is a boutique executive search firm focused exclusively on the unique requirements of the mining industry.

We are currently accepting applications on behalf of our Client, a newly structured and tightly-held Nevada focused gold explorer, for a CEO to lead the charge as they set to embark upon their quest to uncover an economic deposit on their newly acquired, flagship asset.

The project is located in northern Nevada within the Northern Nevada Rift near the juncture with the Carlin Trend, and is directly adjacent to a very prominent low-sulfidation, bonanza grade, epithermal gold deposit.

The 11,000+ acre project has seen very little work on it, despite two major mining companies making high-grade discovery holes on different sections of the property, returning grades in excess of 4 ounces/t.  The project hasn’t seen any drilling in over 10 years, a victim of a bear market and forgotten in a privco ever since.

This is effectively a brand-new company, that comes with an impeccable Board, and a blue-sky project in “elephant country” in Nevada, directly adjacent to an operating mine, that will surely gather the Market’s attention given it’s size, past high-grade results, and proximity to other high-profile deposits of a similar nature.

Given the early-stage of the project, the ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in geology and the capital markets, with a proven track record at the helm, or as number two, of other high-profile exploration companies.  We’re looking for someone to come in on the ground floor to help shape the narrative of the Company, raise the profile in the marketplace, direct exploration and ultimately build a functioning project level team, all the while serving as the “face” of the Company and ensuring the treasury can support the mission. As this is a pure Nevada focused company, first preference will be given to those candidates with previous experience operating in the area.
