The Mining Recruitment Group is a boutique executive search firm focused on the unique needs of the mining industry.
We have been retained by a +$50m market cap, development staged precious metals company to identify and secure a seasoned investor relations professional as a Vice President in this new role. The successful candidate will play a key role in directing all aspects of our Client’s investor communications programme. This is a high-level role, with a primary focus on institutional investor relations and generating new coverage within the Marketplace.
Our Client is pressing forward through development of their feasibility staged flagship asset and they are now looking to bring on an experienced capital markets professional to help “beat the drum” and increase their following in the marketplace.

The successful candidate will play a key role in directing all aspects of our Client’s investor communications programme and serve as a key member of the executive team on all strategic initiatives. This is a high-level role, with a primary focus on institutional investor relations and the incumbent will be seen in many respects as the “face” of the Company on a day-to-day basis.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Incumbent’s primary duties will be:
The ideal candidate will have an extensive background within the capital markets, with strong relationships, being a “known” entity already within the mining industry, and will have worked in a similar capacity with other development, or production staged resource companies. At least 15 years of experience in the investor relations or capital markets realm, with strong personal connections to the financial community and a defensible track record of increasing analyst coverage, and volumes with previous employers. The role is based in Vancouver BC, with travel required as-needed.
